Brentford launch investigation into Ivan Toney video clip on social media

Brentford have launched an investigation after a video of Ivan Toney appearing to say “fuck Brentford” was published on social media. The forward is thought to be on holiday in Dubai during the Premier League’s winter break.

The 25-year-old has scored six goals in an impressive league campaign so far. But now the Bees are looking into a video posted on Twitter that could land the former Peterborough player in trouble with his club. “Brentford FC are aware of the video and are investigating,” said a club spokesperson.
